A big thank you to everyone who played a part in the Music For Life fundraising event at the Ranelagh pub on Saturday. We raised an amazing £850 for the Martlets Hospice from the raffle and bucket donations - thank you again everyone! Watch this space for the next event, hopefully in Spring next year in a large pub in Hove - details to follow!
One of the acts appearing at the Ranelah - the fantastic Wanderin' Wilf - is running the Brighton Marathon next April in Martin's memory, and will be raising money for the Martlets Hospice in the process. Please log onto http://www.justgiving.com/Wilf4Life/ to find out more and sponsor Wilf.

Very sadly, Martin May, who used to update this site, passed away on 30th March this year. He had been ill for a while but lymphona was ultimately the cause of his death.
Sue Lapwood, Martin's partner, would like you to know that we raised £1,100 for the Martlets by people sending donations instead of flowers and also by passing buckets round at his wake.
We will continue to have a Martlets fundraising night with live music on/around Martin's birthday every year (26th April).
